Horace Grant is a former NBA power forward/center renowned for his defensive prowess and role in championship teams. The identical twin brother of former NBA player Harvey Grant, Horace starred at Clemson University, earning ACC Player of the Year honors and consensus second-team All-America recognition in 1987.

Selected 10th overall by the Chicago Bulls in the 1987 NBA Draft, Grant developed into a key starter alongside Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen. He contributed to the Bulls' first three-peat, winning NBA championships in 1991, 1992, and 1993. Known for his rebounding, interior defense, and reliable mid-range scoring, he averaged career highs of 15.1 points and 11.0 rebounds in 1993–94.

An NBA All-Star in 1994, Grant earned four consecutive NBA All-Defensive Second Team selections from 1993 to 1996. After leaving Chicago as a free agent, he played for the Orlando Magic, Seattle SuperSonics, and Los Angeles Lakers. He added a fourth championship ring with the Lakers in 2001.

Over his 17-year career (1987–2004), Grant appeared in 1,165 games, averaging 11.2 points, 8.1 rebounds, and 2.2 assists per game on 50.9% shooting. He tallied 12,996 points and 9,443 rebounds. Nicknamed "The General" or "The Enforcer" for his toughness, Grant remains a respected figure in NBA history. He currently serves as a special advisor to the Chicago Bulls' president and COO.
