Alexander Gould is an American actor and voice artist born on May 4, 1994, in Los Angeles, California. He began his acting career at the age of two, quickly establishing himself as a talented child performer with early guest appearances on series such as Ally McBeal, Malcolm in the Middle, and Freaks and Geeks. His breakthrough came in 2003 when he voiced the adventurous young clownfish Nemo in Pixar's beloved animated film Finding Nemo, directed by Andrew Stanton—a role that introduced him to global audiences and showcased his expressive vocal talents alongside stars like Albert Brooks and Ellen DeGeneres. He later reprised elements of the character with a cameo as Passenger Carl in the 2016 sequel Finding Dory.

Gould achieved further recognition for his live-action work, most notably portraying Shane Botwin, the evolving son of Mary-Louise Parker's character in the acclaimed Showtime dramedy Weeds (2005–2012). Appearing in all eight seasons across 102 episodes, he navigated the complexities of a teenager growing up in a family entangled in the drug trade, earning two Screen Actors Guild Award nominations for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series. During this period, he also voiced Bambi in the 2006 direct-to-video film Bambi II and appeared in projects like How to Eat Fried Worms (2006) and voice work in Superman: Unbound (2013) as Jimmy Olsen.
